This beautiful Kowhaiwhai Pendant & Earring Set is set in resin with a sterling silver chain and clasp.

Kowhaiwhai patterns are predominant in Wharenui or Maori Meeting houses, across the rafters and in tukutuku patterns and have a typical scrolling feeling to the design.

This kowhaiwhai pattern is Pātikitiki- meaning flounder and can be seen as the inspiration for this design.  The design represents the sea, seafood or the supply of and fertility.
