This Tripe Koru Bone Pendant is etched with beautiful designs and lower koru embellished with paua or abalone.

Koru is the Māori word for a loop.  It is a spiral that depicts the unfurling of a silver fern, which is indigenous to New Zealand.  It can also represent an individual, a new venture or an unborn child. The Koru is a symbol of peace, tranquility, spirituality and family; regrowth and new beginnings or journeys.  In this form is often refered to as whanau or family.
